In 1989, Shimshon Pipe Works was incorporated as a company dealing with civil engineering works. Starting from 1995, the company began conducting pipe jacking and horizontal boring in every known method.

Shimson Pipe Works is an active player in a range of areas of civil engineering.  Besides conventional civil engineering works, the company also conducts pipe jacking projects in every type of soil in diameters ranging from 100 mm to 3,800 mm over distances exceeding 1,000 meters.

Pipe jacking works, of all kinds, are carried out by highly specialized, professional and skilled personnel operating advanced equipment and machinery.

Shimshon Pipe Works is located in Kibbutz Ramat hakovesh and besides storing the jacking equipment it owns, it operates a locksmith's workshop used for constructions works and maintenance of the tunneling equipment.

The company has set its goals to constantly professionalize and optimize investment in improvement of the tunneling equipment and betterment of its human capital. It puts a substantial emphasis on quality and professionalism of work, starting with the entire aspects of the project planning stage to actually conducting the work and finishing it up.

The company holds the necessary registrations as a contractor under the classifications required for conducting jacking works. Shimshon Pipe Works cooperates with local companies to overcome complex projects and when required, it brings in foreign entities specializing in tunneling and suppliers of tunneling equipment.

The company performs jacking projects for the following customers: Mekorot - The National Water Company, EMS - Electro Mechanical Services, Israel Railways, Dan Regional Association, Local Government Economic Services, Gas Pathways, Israel Electricity Corporation, Ayalon Highways, Ministry of Defense, Gihon Company, etc.
